Donation for Shri Suvarna Siddheshwar Temple.

Shri. Shivyogi Siddharameshwar temple is the pride and glory of Solapur. The temple is being renovated and golden-silver embossing of the temple in line with the Golden Temple of Amritsar. It has the work been going on since last 07 years. For this noble cause, devotees within and in and around vicinity area of Solapur have shown exemplary response in form donation. The concept of Golden Siddheshwar Temple has been rolled out in phase manner and the first phase 70% work has been accomplished. Remaining work is in progress.

Donation for Synagogue (Sabha Mandap Denagi).

The old assembly hall of Shri Siddheshwar Temple was built with iron poles about 100 years ago. To avoid any unforeseen incidents due to rusting of the iron poles in the assembly hall of the temple, it is imperative to remove the iron poles and renovate the assembly hall. Hence the renovation work of the assembly hall is going on using stones which are asymmetrical to the stones of the main temple.

Financial Assistance for Academic Work:

Shri Siddheshwar Devasthan is a public trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and its registration no. is A-249. The temple trust has set up various institutions pertaining to education, religious and medical sectors. The temple trust runs pre-primary, primary and high schools for Marathi, Kannada and English Medium. To empower girls, the temple trust runs polytechnic and degree engineering college exclusively for girl students.

The temple trust provides financial assistance to the needy but meritorious students studying in the schools and colleges affiliated to the temple whose economic condition is weak.

The temple trust has started Oriental School to teach oriental and primitive education to Jangam Batu while academic education is simultaneously being provided to them. 1

Shri Siddheshwar Priesthood Pathshala has been started on behalf of the organization with the aim of imparting priestly education to the movable dwarfs of the society along with their education. As many as 100 Jangam Batu from various districts of Maharashtra are currently studying in the Oriental School. The facility of free food and lodging is being offered by the temple trust to Jungam Batu.

Donation for Dasoha / Annachatra (Free meal for devotees).

The Siddheshwar temple serves Mahaprashad to the outstation devotees free of cost who visit the temple on a daily basis. On behalf of Devotees who offer donation of 11000/- to Dasoha, the temple trust serves Mahaprashad on the predetermined dates by the trust.

  • The temple serves Mahaprashad (meal) to the devotees on each day from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm and from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
  • Every day approximately 1000 - 1500 devotees take advantage of Mahaprashad in Dasoha.
